We recently added this stunning Vintage Oak washstand to our stock.
Today we made a start restoring and adapting the unit to work as modern day vanity unit, we have removed the existing casters, handles and hinges they will be replaced, we have re-worked the splash back to reduce the height so a large mirror will sit at a better height, we have reused some of the original green glazed tiles.
The oak is currently un-finished so you have an option to decide on the finish you want from natural to dark oak, the original black marble top will have holes cut to work with the basin and tap you plan to use, the interior will be adapted to conceal the plumbing, a mid shelf added to one side and then painted and lacquered in you choice of colour, if your interested in the piece and what to add your own twist to the final look of the unit, please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss your ideas or inquire further.

The price covers the full restoration and re-finish in one of four colour options, we will create a central void for the plumbing and then paint in your choice of colour from our selection and then lacquer the interior to provide a modern easy clean interior

To order your custom vanity unit, please follow these steps:
- Specify the basin and tap you plan to use, we can cut the holes accordingly.
- Confirm if your plumbing goes to the wall or the floor, so we can adapt the internals accordingly.
- The interior will be painted and lacquered for a smooth easy clean finish.
- Every order comes with a complimentary "Care For Pack"
- Delivery by reliable independent couriers who cover most of Mainland UK*.
* We can deliver your order by pallet if our couriers do not cover your area, for example, Northern Scotland, Wales, or Norfolk. This service has an additional cost. Please ask us for a price estimate before you order.

Custom and personalised orders
All my furniture is handmade to your exact requirements I don't have a stock standard unit so no two units will never be exactly the same every one is unique
I use only very well aged timbers that are recovered from reclamation and salvage yards
Sizing details
I would ask that you send me a basic sketch of your ideas with measurements I will than create a scale plan confirming your measurements once these have been approved production dates will be confirmed
Care instructions
All my timber is sanded to a 320 grit finish so the surface is smooth to the touch and guaranteed splinter free.
I them apply a minimum of two coats of Osmo hard wax oil that is hard wearing waterproof and eco friendly
Every vanity has "care for pack" and instructions with cleaning products included
Gift wrapping and packaging
I don't offer a gift wrapping service my washstands that are delivered by carriers are packaged on a palett and then shink wrapped for protection.
The washstands I deliver personally are not wrapped.
